Did a cheeky 35-minute Drum n’ Bass set in VR using Tribe XR and honestly, the app still blows my mind. You basically get to play on £7k worth of Pioneer gear for the price of a couple Deliveroos.
I’ve used CDJ-3000s in real life and they’re lush, so the fact Tribe teamed up with Pioneer and dropped fully-licensed virtual versions is pretty sweet. The muscle memory translates to a degree but it’s not quite the same as the real thing. Still though – it’s a bunch of fun!
Anyway, I jumped in, threw down a quick liquid set, and had a blast. Here’s the result.
